Probably not at all. If you bought one last year like I did, the oxidization problem was present. I had to return mine. If you have a brand new one, set your ICCMAX to 307A and your PL1/PL2 to 253w and you should be fine. Update your BIOS as well. 125 is the current microcode (MCU in HWiNFO), and there's another coming next month.

i undervolted and underclocked the shit out of my chip the day i got it a year or two ago because i wanted the most silent system while still having ok performance
i think im in the clear since i've never had any crashes
9800x3d can't come soon enough though
i think i've just about had it with intel
curious to see for myself the difference in having much more cache
