MC3 smokes both Underground games. Most Wanted can hold its own against MC3 because of the characters (like Sgt. Cross) and the stolen BMW racecar.

Mostly all sequels but yet absolutely demolishes the selection 20 years later. Only good games of the year are FFVII Rebirth, a fucking remake of a 25 year old game, and MGS Delta, a remake of a 20 year old game, and Stellar Blade which is a soulsborne-coom-iro cash in

Can't wait for this faggot to end his lecture so I can go back to my dorm room and play Gradius V and Katamari Damacy.

Thank god, it's a comfy life living prepaid. Except when they shut down 3G towers and didn't even compensate me for the new phone. That was horseshit and I'm still mad about that.

its basicly Tokyo Extreme Racer with a added storymode

You need Auto Modellista, Enthusia and the TXR games in there. I tried Enthusia with my G29 and it's actually fun as fuck, not really realistic because the cars are way more slidey than they should be, but still an absolute blast.
>>683779190
It has good customization, a lot of rare real bodykits, but that's about as far as I can go. The cars themselves have wildly inaccurate models and visually the game didn't write headlines not even for the time.
>>683779395
Because it has a complete dogshit driving model that makes big rigs look like a masterpiece in comparison

I loved 00s racing games for having actual music instead of the 90s jungle that I didn't like.
I know it's been a thing now when zoomers discovered the genre, but I still don't like it.

2004 was the best year of my life.
Graduated high school in 2003. My parents let me have one year to "let off steam" before I had to either go to college or work.
Did nothing but play video games 12 hours a day. I went through the entire PS1 and PS2 library. Got into emulation and caught up on older games I missed out on. Bought my first computer. I was so happy.
After that year, my parents gave me the ultimatum of work/college or be kicked out, and I've been miserable ever since. I hate you NEETs.
>>
>>683782636
>play video games 12 hours a day
God I miss when I could do that.
Like actually physically do it, forget I have to eat and shit, just game.
Now not even an hour passes and I must take a stretch, piss, or just get bored.

When you're neeting it up playing vidya all day everyone keeps telling you there so much more to life. But then when you get out there and do all those things, like work, parties and pussy, you find out that playing vidya all day actually is the best
>>
>>683782517
Really? I was playing games since before I could talk.
>>
>>683782795
Early 2000s was peak everything
>>
kinda crazy how brutally racing games have declined

they have no style. no good music. nothing on offer besides racing. no atmosphere.

all they have is better fidelity and a bunch of niggers yapping around.
>>
>>683783030
And they feel slow too, you know?
>>
>>683782783
It was because video games were actually good.
I went through Final Fantasy 7 through 10 in one long marathon that stretched over 4 months and never got burned out once. I had a rich friend who owned like every single RPG starting from the NES who decided to join the military gave me his entire collection in one giant tote. He had fucking everything.
He returned from his tour in Iraq after 6 years. Grew out of vidya and never asked for his collection of games that is probably worth $5000 now.
>>
>>683782885
There was 1 (one) time I regret going to one party because I found out that the girl I had a crush on for years wanted to hook up but I was like nah I stayed home and played Perfect Dark for 5 hours.
>>
>>683783292
True.
Last game that remotely gave me that feeling was Cyberpunk, and that was only during some of the story quests, then it came to stop with the usual "wait for XYZ to call you" which I understand is the time for the player to dick about the city, but there ain't that much to do.
>>
>>683783432
I never felt comfortable at parties at first so I started drinking and taking drugs to make it fun. Which worked and allowed me to be sociable. I ended up addicted and withdrawals were horrible, ofcourse my own fault but still. I now have this weird mixture of regret but also fond memories
>>
>>683783030
even the racing is getting sidetracked in racing games these days
i quit playing Forza Horizon 5 after the game gave me all these stupid fetch quest missions and a goddamn mission where i just collect checkpoints all just so i can progress and actually unlock new races
how this piece of shit got 9's and 10's is beyond me
>>
>>683775216
I'd argue that PC versions of NFS games were better. PS2 peaked with UG2 and developers used up maximum of what console was capable of. Every NFS game after UG2 got significantly worse and worse afterwards due to limitations.
I'm also surprised you don't have Xtreme Tokyo Racing games in your collection. They are uncut gems of arcade racing genre.
>>683783030
And they are mostly centered around multiplayer, so singleplayer mode is either out of question or is dogshit quality.
>>683782885
I beg to differ. I used to be neet and consoomer in the part, and that shit backfired hard in my life because my creativity went to dumpster, got depressed like hell, and I got burned out. It took years to actually recover and adapt among people again.
Media consumption is fine in moderation, but you have to set up boundaries or else you'll suffer heavy consequences.
>>
>>683784596
>how this piece of shit got 9's and 10's is beyond me
Controlled algorithms by corpos, astroturfed standards by investors (FH5 is fully DEI game, it's extremely obvious), and journalism being full of crooks.
Back when it was released, it was praised as diverse and unique game because it appealed to everyone, is pisspoor easy, and is set in Californian wet dream version of Mexico. It even has journalist difficulty mode where you just push button to accelerate and the game will drive the car around track for you.

underground 2 is kinda bad
>boring open world you cannot fast travel around, meaning you have to drive from one race to the next which is cool at first but the novelty wears off very quickly
>the underground racing league is the lamest fucking shit and theres so many url events on the most boring tracks known to man (seriously theres like 25 or so of them and later in the game theyre tournaments so theyre even longer)
>physics are boring, the cars are much heavier than in underground but they dont handle as well as in most wanted so youre just playing some sort of worst of both worlds
