>>683803271Magatsuhi is the essence of human emotion. Isamu's character takes a turn when we see Thor wack the fuck out of him and then drain all of Isamu's Magatsuhi from his body. Nocturne doesn't have a ton of character exposition but before that point Isamu was fairly lively and humorous. Immediately afterward that he's in full emo mode. So that's partly to blame for why he and his ideology are fucked up.But also, all of Nocturne's reason reps are deliberately portrayed as hypocrites, Chiaki and Hikawa included (and even Yoko to some extent). Isamu's hypocrisy is the most blatantly obvious I feel like. Transforming into a being visibly made up of a clusterfuck of souls, but wishing for a world where every soul lives on its own in complete isolation.
