You are deluded if you think Gothic 1/2 tier gameplay has any normie appeal for sales.
Risen 3 is also the one with most varied gameplay options, with magic for all factions of different types like summons, aoe, single target, dot, debuffs, buffs, knifes, guns, axes, swords, crossbows etc.
They were obssessed with "difficulty" except wouldn't give any tools to handle that properly unlike Elden Ring etc.
Also glad to see that stupid nonsense of the player needing to become a worshipped saint to get faction armor while literallywho NPCs are constantly walking around in it
