My Flydigi Vader 3 Pro controller doesn't get recognized by the original Dark Souls, but works flawlessly with the remaster. I can only play the original by deleting my driver and restarting the pc and then it only works for that moment and I have to do it again the next time.Is it worth it to play the original Dark Souls with these extreme complications or do I get /v/'s blessings to play the remaster?

Try a controller test website then try adding Og dark souls to steam as a non-steam game and use big picture

games dont just randomly decide to not recognize random ass controllers. everything is through xinput or dinput, something else in the pipeline is fucked if that shit isnt working for you
