Elden Ring bosses are kinda boring, it’s all big guy in an circular Arena
I just want another from game of the genre to just be like the older dark souls and demon souls in terms of level and boss design, look at capra demon boss fight, look at taurus, bell gargoyles, those have some pretty interesting ways to defeat them and have such unconventional arenas, it’s cool

Nah. Bosses are the one area that have improved every game. ER being some of the best and a huge upgrade from DS3. What made older Souls games like DS1 good was not the bosses. It was the level/world design.

One of my favorite DS3 bosses was deacon blues which should tell you how much of a freak I am. I think future souls games should have 50% gimmick bosses and 50% cool anime fights. And they don't need to be super gimmicky, stuff like sully having a stand that does delayed mirrored attacks is fine.

But I'll concede that one thing that was cool about Dark Souls bosses is how some like Capra or Taurus were a jumpscare, some fog walls were harmless but some did lead into a boss and it wasn't obvious every time, so it was always a little tense to go through them
In Elden Ring if you see a big area and a fog wall you know a boss is coming so you can buff up and get ready
I liked that the previous design would always keep you on your toes
