It's pretty good as a remaster. Gameplay's accurate, control refinements are nice and the on-the-fly toggleable graphics are cool.

Remaster is fun, though I find myself playing with classic graphics often. The old games really did lighting and colors so much better, but remaster side is still good because swimsuit mod, even if it means I gotta bust one out every ten minutes.Every now and then I'll turn on the modern controls for a little bit just because it's so fucking alien. Game feels completely different. Absolute heresy that I would never use them to actually progress through the game because it trivializes all the platforming, but at the same time damn they really eliminated all the clunk. Might even replay 1 with them on just to see how much it breaks the difficulty.
