Time ghosts would work well for Chrono Trigger, however my idea for LoD is that the yggdrasil tree thing that gives life to all living creatures does humans last, and the game is revealed as a sequel that is repeating events in a cycle.

LoD was always better than FF7, thematically, musically, conceptually, with better areas, music, battle system, storytelling, etc. Of course the le rebel starships in FF7 would always capture the Japanese Star Wars crowd though.

FF7 Remake was a bad idea of a game. I didn't get to finishing it but the ghosts saving Cloud all the time and Reno showing up to say "Oi Oi Oi" every 10 minutes made my eye twitch. Idk about the second one but it's probably embarassing too.

If Snoy can toss money at FF7R and Stellar Blade they can toss money at the remake of the JRPG that almost ended their company (lol)

Also LoD Shattered Chains is on PC with a hard mode and who knows what else
