Excellent inclusion, horrible execution. They gave him the most generic watered down unrecognizable moveset in the entire roster when he has some of the flashiest and stylish moves in action gaming in his original titles.

I only played kh1/2 and have watched a few videos on it, but the ansem stuff with body/clone/time travel separation stuff just kinda makes story non coherent.One thing I was always wondering about was how or why sora and his friends were living on destiny island alone with no parents. Who were their parents? How did they get there?

It's a pretty normal quaint little island village with regular buildings. You hear Sora's mom call him for dinner before the plot kicks off in 1, and I think Riku mentions they'll never see their parents again if they leave to another world shortly after. Kairi lives with her grandmother and her parents probably died before the two of them fled from Hollow Bastion/Radiant Garden.Their families are acknowledged but the only one you ever actually see is Kairi's grandmother in Birth by Sleep.
I think he's very likable and kinda charming.all of his Facial Expressions in 1 and 2 are top tier and he will forever be up there with the most recognizable characters in all of gaming.
Sora has so much source material to draw from, yet in Smash he is the blandest, most cookie cutter swordsman you could come up with. Basically none of the myriad moves he has in his games are present. He even has a counter as his down special. And despite the series having so much good music, they limited themselves to he dullest selection from KH1 only. Why go to all the effort of getting the rights to Sora only to phone it in once you have them?
