Games that in any other generation should have been exclusives were instead made multi-plat as a result of the pandemic (and Sony's refusal to do literally anything about scalping) tanking interest in buying a console at launch. People just bought PS4 versions of games because "why would I buy a PS5 when nothing is out" which became a self fulfilling prophecy.
Sony's unwillingness to play hardball with consumers is the reason the PS5 is getting mogged

And PS3. The hardware was dogshit but the menu was 10/10, is still the best console multimedia player and had a ton of unique games like Folklore, Puppeteer, demons souls etc.
