I recently installed a mod that uncaps the framerate limit and apparently does so without causing any physics bugs. It really wasn't acceptable that a game with such a big PC player base didn't have this as a native feature, and even more unacceptable that the 2016 Special Edition didn't do the same. But the real kicker is when TES 6 comes out in like 2025, 2026 or beyond, it STILL will be locked at 60fps.
