>obsoletes the Steam Deck
>>
except no one will buy it
>>
i bet you owned a zune
>>
>same if not more battery life despite running more demanding games
>can run way more demanding games
>can run any game since it's windows
Pretty based. If you're not a poorfag the option is clear.
>>

you can load bazzite onto it and then it's literally just a better steam deck
>>
What's the fucking point of making it so wide? Just use the fucking switch layout if you are not gonna add track pads, what the fuck was Asus thinking.
Also it's ugly as hell, that dpad looks like cancer and the gigantic bezels around the screen in 2024.
>>
does it run linux?
does it support the proton compatability layer project, or any other project that promots gaming on linux and/or porting windows games to linux?

To obsolete something you have to actually replace it?
>>

Im happy this competetition moves handheld tech forward and lets valve design faster deck 2 for similar price point as current one is.
Asus has lost its reputation in my eyes so I personally would never consider anything from them again.

>Falls apart within warranty period
>GAYSUS wants 300$ for repair or else they deliver it to you disassembled, literally extortion , not to mention dismissing warranty , double crime
>Get away with it because Shitnernet has the memory of a goldfish

I'm amazed that people don't immediately spit when they hear the name Asus.
By all accounts, the criminal scammer and extortionist company should have been boycotted into bankruptcy by now.

Unpopular /v/ opinion, but I'm glad handheld pcs and portable emulators are trendy right now and it's cool to see new devices even if I already own a Deck.
>>
>>683841232
I'm not.
kids these days have no OPSEC and keep getting emulation projects DMCA'd.
>>
>>683841232
anything that doesn't worship the valve cult is unpopular /v/ opinion
>>
>>683837672
Does that mean that it's 500€ or less? I'm not spending like a thousand on a handheld.

No trackpads no buy. I want my device to be able to play all of my games, and that includes shit like RTS and city builders from 20 years ago that can only be played with a mouse.
No I'm not going to plug in an actual mouse because that kills the whole purpose of a handheld PC.
