>"Earned skills without exploits or metas are kind of looked down upon in (multiplayer) games nowadays and anyone who does show that off who isn't in an e-sport setting is labeled as a "Sweat" ">CoD MW 2022 is labeled as a "casual CoD" because it lacks weapon customization and other meta exploiting shenanigansSome thoughts from a video I was watching, it is indeed pretty interesting how sheer skill has become something frowned upon in multiplayer games outside of a competitive environment.

I think it's a good name. It fits the stereotype fine, whether you're pictured as someone taking it seriously and putting in enough effort to sweat or an unwashed neet.Got a nice double meaning too. When you're just going casual with some friends, "watch out might be some sweats". Always gives me the visual of the skilled, coordinated, guys showing up and the pace change making you sweat.
