I did play it. I had 250 hours in it on steam alone. I enjoyed it up to chapter 11, then they killed the EN voice acting and basically dropped any of the interesting story elements for entirely coombait bullshit. turning some of my favorite characters (like cherno) into a fucking bimbo skank like everyone else. I enjoyed the English dub, I enjoyed the combat, I routinely bought their shitty battle pass, but they ended up making everything about how slutty every girl is for (you). Any tacticool world building was gone, so I just quit playing. Horny is fine, but going over horny at the detriment of everything else is where I draw the line. Mauxir and Fritia, my beloveds... can't wait for them to give you both massive honkers and new personalities like everyone else.

But I do. Fenny is great. Tess is nice. The problem is, it uses the shitty "1 unit and mostly weapons" bullshit gacha, which ruins the experience for people. Most SUCCESSFUL gachas (other than Genshin) don't pull that shit and keep gear separate from Unit pulls. I actually did quit for awhile for two reasons:
1) Events are so fucking slow. Most put events every 2 weeks or so, Snowbreak does it monthly, that's a lot of boring downtime with no new units, and new units are what keep a gacha alive.
2) The weapon-filled gacha. Dupes are important but it feels like I can't pull any because it's all weapons. Psychologically, it feels worse to pull a bunch of weapons than a bunch of 3-4* units. Their $ to Currency value is shit, too. Their bundles are confusing. There's an extra unnecessary layer between $ to Blue Cubes to Purple Gems.

I started playing this game when it was released on Steam. I'm not actually playing it on Steam, seeing it on Steam brought my attention to it so I downloaded their own PC client. It looked like a fun post-apocalyptic science fiction anime girls third person shooter.

IMO what's happening now to gacha games is what happened to MMOs. In the beginning, all the MMOfags were stuck in a few games. Solofags, partyfags, RPers PKers, traders, all together, and then everyone split into seperate newer games.

Yes, it's real shame. I love the setting and usually don't care about pandering apart from somewhat sexy skins, but relation I had to girls was more protective than lust and so this pivot to harem game and in near future rewrite to full on pandering is off-putting. I tried it when the Steam version launched. The graphics are okay, but it was annoying the enemies were bullet sponges. I don't think it'll be feasible for me to play Snowbreak now and try to get the girls I find visually pleasing because I know I'll end up grinding for scraps.

Right now I'm fine with WuWa if I want hot women. It's not a coomer game like Snowbreak, however.
