If we ever get a major set of design refreshes again, I don't want the actual character designs changed barring minor tweaks (so stuff like giving the Mario Bros rounded overall straps again). I'd rather see a style-oriented change, something closer to Kotabe's artwork from the 90s-2000s. Now more than ever, after they showed at GDC that Wonder was going to have models that were more directly Kotabe-inspired.
