Unlike most other games killing a boss doesn't net you any rewards; instead of that the game world evolves into a more dangerous version of itself, so the whole thing becomes a puzzle where you need to optimize the order of killing the bosses as well as the safest route of traversing the world. The resources are also limited so this is non-trivial. Quite enjoyable game, too bad that the replay value is close to zero.
