I didn't like the Ryza games, and Yumia is basically Ryza 4, so the series is not for me anymore. I just can't stand ATB. Either stay turn-based or go full action, this retarded system appeals to no one.

You can keep on the offensive near constantly instead of making a single attack chain and then waiting around for your turn to make another. It wastes so little time between that and the seamless transitions that weaker battles flow as seamlessly into exploration as it would in any action RPG. If nothing else, the system appeals to me.

I liked the games, but I think it's obvious that they got worse and sequels happened because Ryza is insanely hot.1 > 2 > 3I think 3 is maybe a 6, 7/10 at best.The story and themes of Ryza 1 fit really well and mog the stories and themes of 2 and 3. 3 does have the best combat but IMO the open world formula didn't really work for Ryza.
