I'm pretty sure that the "tolerance" stat is just the "kindness/friendship" stat used in previous person Persona/SMT games with a different name. Metaphor is basically just Persona 5 under the hood without the romance options.

I'm politically left and even I find all the "slavery bad, racism bad" shit tiresome in modern games. BG3, Tales of Arise, FF16, all banged that drum pretty heavily.
