The Shadow hub and levels aren’t as impressive of an addition as Bowser’s Fury, and that port already was criticized for charging full price for such measly amounts of new content, so I can imagine reviewers will dog on this too despite being slightly cheaper than a main AAA release.The extra Shadow levels coming in the DLC might add some longevity to the game but they should’ve been included day 1 and especially should not have been tied to a season pass.Also they did not fix the normal Time Eater final boss at all so expect a lot of salt because it’s still dogshit awful at communicating where the fuck your character is and if they’re doing anything 8/10

yeah dont think im ever replaying these stages, they just drag out the length with these gay cutscenes instead of relying on actual gameplay its gonna be jarring going from the best 3d sonic game yet to homing attack chains the game plus gay edgelord cutscnes... ffs

Gens and even Cyberspace mostly lacked any kind of cutscene beyond 2-3 seconds and I thought that was nice. Kingdom Valley 1 had none so I appreciate it is isn't in every level but I would rather it be in none to begin with.
