It's weird I loved the first version of this game when people called it "Super Turbo with dash and universal overheads". Game was simple and lots of my interactions would come out of whiff punishes and pokes, it wasn't samsho or ST but it wasn't Melty or GG either. Now this one is full of mechanics that I don't care for or just dislike including guard break and this game's version of dead angle or whatever system. Also the slower gameplay has been scrapped in favor of limitless oppression.

Her changelist, numerically, is a lot more buffs than nerfs, it's just that the nerfs in question hurt her so much more than all the buffs combined. I don't want to relearn my character(s) and their matchups every few months. I want to play a game instead of second guessing what arbitrary and inane changes the devs are going to make next.

Later part leans less toward random lobbies and is more suited for D*scord matchmaking but you get what I mean. Ranked measures your skill and might show you some blind spots, but the long sets are where you can find a blind spot and the answer to that blind spot
