If you do forward, down, down+forward, forward you get a quarter circle. If you specifically want to do motion input DPs you'll have to stop at the down-forward precisely.The norm in fighting games has become to let DPs take priority but to let people ensure they get a quarter circle by doing a half-circle instead (press back before the quarter circle so that it doesn't matter if you were walking forward prior). I don't get why GBVSR does things different but I just do motion inputs for quarter circles and simple inputs for other inputs
