I played Tooie but never played Kazooie. What was it like?

I like tooie more but a lot of it has to do with nostalgia i'm sure. My family was poor growing up so I didn't have many games so tooie being a longer more adventure game like experience was great for me because I would just get lost immersed in the world and exploring for every jiggyI still play it every year or so when I get that itch and I still love it but I can understand why people don't like it. I'm not the biggest kazooie fan (I think click clock wood and rusty bucket bay are when the game takes a huge jump off a cliff and becomes a massive chore to play through) but if you look at tooie as more of an adventure game like zelda and less like a platformer there's a lot to love
