Yes, yes, while the return to form meme is excellent and we will all have fun laughing at Veilguard, you should still remember what they took from us.

We were robbed prime TORtarnic-tier kino, a game so ahead of the curve it predicted Concord.
Do you realize how painful that was? Not only they are killing gaming, but want to deny us the satisfaction if a proper disaster, of a hundreds of millions dollars game releasing to Mostly negative with 3 digits playercount.

The difference with Veilguard is that they know ahead of time that it's going to flop. Tortanic was a complete surprise and when they scrambled to save it, it failed even more miserably. With Veilguard you already had them months before release refusing to pay for denuvo, hand-picking reviewers and forcing them to sign contracts, clamping down on public discourse (even banning laughing emojis lmao), and more. They KNOW the game is going to flop, and they're trying to pivot and play the anti-woke victim card to salvage whatever they can.
