I was aware Assassin's Creed 1 was considered lesser than its sequels, I didn't realize it was straight up bad. Controls are stiff and slow. Mission structure is mind-numbingly repetitive. Every system, from stealth to combat, feels completely half-baked.
Assassin's Creed 2 must have been one hell of a sequel since this first game should have been left in the wastebin of history.
