I like both Kojiro's but the manga's is undoubtedly superior - I do wish the manga would have introduced a hothead rival to Musashi to match the character from the novel though. I like that the manga/anime gets darker over time, almost lulling you into a false sense of it just being a fun cutesy little journey and then going into full nightmare fuel slowly over time. Also, I love that the manga and show make it seem like gohn is just overpowered for his age for no reason at the start, only to subtly drop hints that the reason he is like this is because he was born on the dark continent (you literally see his father there the first time you see him) and that something there possessed him. But the manga doesnt bang you over the head with it, theres a lot of subtly that shonen typically lacks . Also, Kuropika is best boy and easily the best character in the series.

Keiji is more of a historical fiction and set during the end of the Sengoku period. Unfortunately Keiji was never translated in English. You'll have to read the Italian version, but one anon from /a/ took the Italian text and was translating that into English about three months ago. Especially towards the end of Blue Sky. The supporting cast of characters isn't particularly memorable as many of them feel like rehashed characters from North Star. Blue Sky is more comedic than North Star and Kasumi Kenshiro comes off as a bit less serious and more sarcastic compared to Kenshiro from North Star. But the history of Shanghai in the 1930s was handled well. The only way to read Blue Sky in English was the fan translation by the Hokuto no Gun group, which has quite a few spelling mistakes and grammatical errors, but it was still readable from what I remember.
