For example, in the intro fight with Giant Sandman, theres a cutscene where Miles drops in a platform in Sandman hands, so Sandman tilts the platform to make him drop in his mouth iirc, and you see Miles trying to not fall, then Peter saves him. But the problem of the sequence is that, somehow, Miles forgets he can stick to walls and shit becaue he's a Spiderman, why would he fall from a tilted platform? The writing constantly requires both characters to lose their powers in specific moments without explanation
