The RT showcased in some games looked nice, like in Alan Wake II I thought the RT was pretty nice for a console. I'd like to have one, but deep down I know I'd have buyer's regret. You'd pay $699 for reflections and some better visuals, maybe a higher framerate in "some" games, but most PS5 games I've played always manage to get 60 FPS in performance mode. Even DF said that if you don't care much for visual fidelity, or can spot the little differences like lightning, shadows, RT, then it probably isn't worth getting. I do think SOME PS5 games will run much better on the Pro then on the base model, such as FFXVI, which still can't hit 60 FPS on base PS5, but if they drop a PS5 Pro patch for it, then I'm sure it'll easily get a stable 60 FPS and even possibly higher graphics comparable to PC. You at least wouldn't have to worry about not getting 60 FPS in your games since I imagine the Pro will run just about any game at a stable 60 FPS, except for the CPU limited ones like Baldur's Gate 3.

Here is a list of confirmed games getting PS5 Pro enhanced patches. There is only like 10-12 games on here I care about and I've already played all of them on the base PS5, even if I bought a PS5 Pro I don't know if I'd care to go back and replay them on the PS5 Pro, unless it was a "significant" difference in experience. The only game that might offer that is Rebirth and Jedi Survivor. I say that because Jedi Survivor still runs like shit on base PS5, so you might actually get a decent experience on the PS5 Pro, and everyone says Rebirth on the PS5 Pro is a way better experience compared to the base PS5 version. I'm sure we'll get more developers coming out with PS5 Pro patches for their games in the coming months hopefully, and even newer games will hopefully release with PS5 Pro versions at launch. We already know Assassin's Creed: Shadows will have a PS5 Pro enhanced version. I find it kind of funny that Rise of the Ronin is getting a PS5 Pro enhanced version, because I played it on base PS5 and it felt like it ran fine for me, granted the visuals weren't amazing, so I'm guessing it'll make the visuals sharper at least.
