It was great, I recently played through the game again with the DLC characters. I hope they'll make a sequel or an expansion at some point.
As for my personal GOTY it's a tie between Relink and Dragon Quest 3. Tekken 8 and Granblue Versus get honorable mentions just because I love fighting games.
