I've been thinking about the Greys. Burned Grey kills you because she thinks that's an expression of love, that death is the only way the two of you can release yourselves from the chains of the cabin. But what about Drowned Grey? She doesn't speak to you at all, mostly: it's a lot harder to figure out her reasoning. I think that in the same way HEA and BG have a shared theme of fire and passion, Cage and DG have a shared theme of being trapped and fatalism. You know you're going to die by drowning long before you actually do, and in the end, no matter how you struggle, there's nothing left to do but accept it. DG kills you because that's her fate, because unlike BG/Damsel, Prisoner doesn't love you.

Im gonna be honest - dragon seems like a detriment to the story.Yes, it gives you the other point of view and that is pretty cool, but i liked the implication that every time TLQ dies - he takes a shit ton of time to reincarnate back on the path, while the princess gets inexplicably put back and both her and the cabin slowly change over time until he comes, with her devolving into beast and then further into den for example, or the cat dabbling in witchcraft and the cabin getting overgrown as a result, with Thorn reaping what she sowed and thinking back on her actions during all that time.Instead dragon shows us that she gets king crimsoned back into the cabin as the new vessel immediately after TLQ dies. I get that it's all part of the construct and whatever but i think it sort of cheapens the drastic changes she goes through by removing all the implication of time passing between paths.
