Silco was the showcase of Arcane, he was a fun and strong villain that was amazingly done on screen and also was not affected by the forced morality play of modern shows where the villain has to be completely evil by the end. She has clearcut strengths and weaknesses that makes her a strong pick into specific situations and a liability in others. Her lore, design, voicelines, and overall kit all feel like they come from League during its golden age. It's insane to think she is sandwiched between Zeri and Akshan and even tied to Gwen and Viego in lore. Champs like Ksante, Rell, Zeri, Smolder, Hwei, Aurora, require actual mini reworks every time they try to balance them because they are so fundamentally flawed and terribly designed. Vex only needs small tweaks to her numbers because her vision is so pure and her place in the game is so genuine.
S1 had some redeemable features here and there. Seeing how tall Cait was and how the devs sneaked in a fat ass on her character outfit was fun. S2 is awful. It's basically just a back and forth between dialogue scenes and Tiktok music videos. Every fight scene looks incredibly stupid because of the slow motion, and at some point it doesn't even feel like there are any stakes or relevance to anything going on because of how much the plotlines and narratives have all just sort of faded away and melded together. You know everyone who is in the main game will live and everyone else is expendable and they are being written that way too. Things like the forced lesbian drama is just there for cheap drama and click bait for articles and people to talk about. The subtlety worked a lot better. On one hand, everything feels so rushed. On the other hand, every episode feels like it is dragging on because each scene is just so pointless and redundant now that no one in the cast matters aside from Jinx and Ambessa, Singed and Mel. Everyone else such as Viktor, Jayce, Cait, etc.. just feel like mindless plot devices meant to help drive the other character's goals.

They bit off way more than they could chew to begin with by making the budget and drama so overblown when the reality was that Zaun and Piltover already had a ton of pre-existing champs that had plenty of material to work with to make something interesting.
