My PS Vita has black stains (mine has fewer but still). Don't buy a Vita anon.
>>695184914I bought one from Japan and it had a few of them. It doesn't really bother me cause once you get into a game it doesn't show up too much. Im OCD as fuck too.
>>695184914this is litterally unseeable during gameplay and you can only see it on a black screen
>>695184914oh no not the oled freckles...>pulls out a different vita from my stash>pulls out a slim vitaman got like 5 of them fuckers from a nip auction for 100 bones "untested"only one of them needed a new battery and the rest were fine
>>695184914fyi this what happens when oled panels are liquid damaged, they start oxidizing. Seen it happen to samsung phones as well.
I have a heavily used oled vita (to game on) and a mint launch oled (to adore). The screen on heavily used one is noticeably worse, it was actually quite staggering to see them side by side, not only because of blotches but also because there's an almost lightbleed effect all over it + greenish tint.'Tis the life for early oleds, though even worn down vita screens look better than most lcd consoles.
>>695184914This is normal
>>695184914ahh man display rot
Mine's triggers stopped working, it was very depressing.
>>695184914does that say assscure?s
>>695184914yeah my ps vita 1000 has that when theres a solid black screen. oled looks great until it doesn't.
>>695184914The black spots observed on your PlayStation Vita 1000 model is known as the mura effect, a common issue with early AMOLED displays. These irregular patches or spots create an uneven appearance on the screen. In contrast, the PlayStation Vita 2000 (Slim) models feature an LCD screen that eliminates this problem, providing a more consistent display without the mura effect's visual distortions.
>>695184914it's mura, from the shitty ancient OLEDs that the vita used. either you get used to it or buy the later model
>>695187132thank you, gpt
>>695184914sorry that was my cum
>>695184914death stranding at home
>>695184914It's like a 20 year old piece of hardware Anon, you can't expect things to last forever, jesus fuck
>>695187132>LCDSo it's literally worthless and irrelevant to the discussion then
>>695184914Just wash it with soap and water.
>>695188529just soak it in rice
>>695184914common on the OLED vitas as consumable OLED at the time was still relatively new
>>695184914that thing was released in 2011 be grateful lasted that long
