The PS5 came out in late 2020, so it took four years to release the PS5 Pro. The PS4 came out in 2013, and the PS4 Pro came out in 2016, so just looking at the time trends, I'd realistically say we won't even get a PS6 till 2028 at best. I also think the PS5 Pro has way more value and features than what the PS4 Pro offered, which was basically nothing. I do think the PS4 Pro was a worthless upgrade/product, but the PS5 Pro actually does have upgrades and features that the base PS5 can't achieve/do, so buying one doesn't seem like an absolute waste of money. I tell myself if I get one now it would be worth it over the next four years most likely, considering you won't get the next Playstation for another four years at minimum.
