>>695197607Actually everyone has a misconception about Metro Exodus being open world. It has big levels, but it isn't like some ubislop game. It's more like Deus Ex levels; not in terms of complexity maybe but in terms of it being open and expansive, but still relatively contained within an area, theme, set piece, etc. I'm not saying it's the best game in the series or something but it is a great game and a good take on "new" STALKER-like gameplay.

I would prefer a "real" stalker 2 made by the Metro team but not having it be a real open world. It should be dense but open levels with lots of places to explore, secret areas, lurker nests and all that kind of shit. Open world but actually good, you know, to put it in simple terms.
