I miss the gameplay loop of stocking up on bullets, food, and vodka in the morning, going out to do a quest. Conserving ammunition, making your shots count because you're not carrying 500+, being careful because you're not looking to get shot either. Making it back before nightfall or camping in a closeby building rather than travelling at night, bringing a modest amount of loot to sell so you can buy back the 2 magazines bullets you spent.Stalker 2 feels like the days go by incredibly fast forcing me to complete quests at night, my gun breaks after a single shootout, npc's see me from 100m away in tall grass and snipe me immediatelly, and fights with mutants feel like there's no other way to avoid getting hit 50+ times so you just have to spam medkits.Why are there no binoculars? Why is there no minimap? I feel like there's a theatre play being performed in a 25m radius around me and I am not allowed to peek behind the curtain. There's zero strategy or planning to be done. Disappointing. Not even going to talk about the terrible performance on Series X.
