it's not the color that matters, retard. every game is going to have some kind of "hey this is important" indication.the problem is when it's lazy context-less bullshit like yellow paint everywhere regardless of environment, not something like this where sandy cracks in some stone object in a desert cave indicate its importance.yellow paint is like a quest arrow. it's the absence of design. where you could use dialog and a journal and clues and so on to guide a player onwards, trying to immerse them by involving them in the world, they imstead completely abstract away all of that into a "go here" waypoint. as game-y as possible.
