If you like Yakuza then it's a fairly weak Yakuza game outside of the combat and the night club. If you like both and can overlook the issues it's okay but not great.>Combat is great and it has some of the best boss fights in the entire series.>The story is just a fanfiction summarization of the entire story with massive amounts of missing characters, OCs, it skips past huge build ups just to fight the boss (Souther's weakness is figured out within 1 minute of starting his fight), and characters that were major in the original are thrown off to the side or forgotten about.Rei, Mamiya, Bat, and Lin are pretty much nonexistent.Rei gets a main story fight, is seen in two substories (One of which has Mamiya), and then is gone from the game.Mamiya is in one single substory for three minutes, doesn't even know Kenshiro, and disappears.Bat is in the story for five seconds and becomes your car minigame menu person.Lin is the same deal where she's in the story for five seconds and then becomes someone you can donate random crap to which you will never do.>New Eden sucks as a main map and is easily their worst major city map outside of Tsukimino>Some of the worst substories in the series where almost nothing happens.>Driving is Jak 3 tier even with the best parts in the game and driving in a straight line will cause you to drift but like 40% of the game is entirely focused on driving.>100% is easily one of the grindiest in the series thanks to the Destiny Talismans and car parts.>Even if you just want to fight the secret boss you still have to spend roughly four hours in the night club farming for money because of a substory where you have to pay 100 million IDL to an old woman and you only earn 2 mil for a 3 minute run and that's only if you donate 50 million of the profit that doesn't go to her outright.
