I wasn't planning on playing it anyway. Fable is kind of a shit franchise, if you think about it: only one good game (two if you count TLC separately from the original Xbox release), and everything since has been just- shit. Pure and simple.Keeping things around for brand recognition is no good when the brand sucks.

Probably wouldn't buy it. Not because I'm offended by playing as a mildly unattractive woman, but because it's just a sign the Xbox Studios still isn't serious about trying to make good games. These days, I really only see good games where they pull out all the stops. They include sexy women, don't try to market through controversy (featuring minorities or trans characters in high profile clearly just to stoke online "conversation" that gets shitrag digital magazines or social media influencers to spam clickbait about their game endlessly), and show actual gameplay in trailers designed to show the game instead of bullshot cinematics.The Fable reboot has done... none of those so far. The pre-alpha footage was on par with "HIRE THIS MAN!" meme-tier videos made by some rando. The only protagonist shown is this freckled ethnically ambiguous voiced chucklefuck, on display as if she's some kind of movie character in the very-much-bullshit trailers. There's been zero sex appeal showcased, even when Fable was kind of known for having stacked NPCs running around everywhere and having an irreverent attitude towards sex in general. So I can't imagine seeing anyone, as a fan of the original games, being excited by the stuff shown rather than just being hyped by letting their imagination run wild.I'll withhold judgement until the game releases, but all the bad signs are there of Fable being mediocre at best.
Not play it like I did with all the previous Fable games. Since they are all gay and boring.
