Very little, I think it hurts when they try to make things diverse to appeal to the real world instead of making diversity a matter of the world, actually, it takes me right out of the game. I tried dragon age veilguard because despite how bad inquisition was, and DA2 was, I really loved origins, I enjoy the world, and think it has a good amount of potential.The game takes existing races, concepts, and people even, and makes them act in ways that they would not in any average circumstance, solely to make the game avoid having a possibly awkward in-game racism moment.It's very strange, and stands WAY out, because it's clearly done to appeal to people who think the real world is somehow going to be impacted by a videogameDiversity in and of itself, nothing wrong with it. It's the messaging and the way you go about "implementing" diversity into fictional worlds that causes issue.
