Well I’m glad they’re trying to improve the atelier series. The games have always been lower quality than their peers and full of jank especially in the PS3 era where it lost its way in the transition to 3d and got worse after its strong performance in the PS2 era. >>721803441Well if you didn't hear how the game itself was it was more boring open world crap with the same few points of interest copy pasted over and over again, more shitty faux-action combat but this time it's trivialised by an overpowered dodge action where you'd have to be a retard to lose at all, and alchemy completely breaks the game even faster than usual. What really pissed everyone off though is the alchemy being hugely simplified and it having an auto alchemy system where because of how it works the auto alchemy could easily make the strongest items and there was no reason to do it manually. Oh and strengthening your alchemy abilities was done by gathering gems from exploring instead of from actually doing alchemy. No alchemy tools for exploring either, you just do everything with your gun.

But they do it anyway and delist the originals in the process. Instead they're adding new characters and extras. So if you want this new content for these 2-5 year old games, you need to buy the entire game again. On the same platform.
