>>721927385If people actually work together that's fine, but in most lobbies you have groups splitting off, some might get lucky/have played the seed before and know where to go, others end up taking detours and get left behind, and if you fall and have to make it back up on your own you're just fucked. The frontrunners will hoard all the best food and most useful tools, AND they will have more of them with their backpacks. It's fucking annoying only having 3 items in a lobby of 8+ players and trailing the group the whole time because you're constantly hungry and have no items to help you climb faster, you end up with a permanent handicap if your group isn't cooperative and it snowballs when you inevitably get forgotten below everyone else and have no hand to help you up. Even if you're smart, you have to make do with a trail mix, a shitty berry, and an energy drink, while others will have a backpack full of cookies, yellow and purple berries, and useful tools. It's even worse on ascent 4+ if you carry a flare and/or a lantern.
