The alchemy is kinda annoying. The color matching is a pain in the ass. They also made like 30 games already and can't still make good ingredient filters or even add some icons on traits so I know if inflict poison goes on weapon, bombs or somwhere else.

On one hand I'm enjoying the simple crafting for stuff I don't care about, however I am unable to make really good items. Then there is the shop which is dead set on selling my best stuff if I leave it to the fairies, but I also need to manually select certain items to get new recipe books to buy.

My gear is up to date and has okay traits. I ended up having to go back and get revival items for everyone as well as synth up a revive trait on healing items and spamming the Imp's Mischief item to keep the bosses permanently debuffed. Totori's Duplication came in very handy, and even then it was a close fight. I'll have to remember this spot for when I come back on a higher difficulty and prepare accordingly.

Atelier Lulua is mostly the same as the previous Arland games with a cost system but also gives every item unique awakening effects when used as material. Some of these can be used to add material types to your result which can lead to making long material chains to add a type to something.Original Rorona, as in not the plus/DX version, was different from the later Arland games as well. In this one ALL traits from your material carried over similar to how it works in Resleriana. The gachage assets seem to be way lower poly and overall quality than what Ryza was even delivering.
