It will literally kill off all indie games because no one else can compete with Team Cherry's monopoly. >>722510772What I find in this game is that the delayed gratification sometimes is TOO delayed, to the point where the gratification doesn't really come and you just remain unsatisfied for a long time. In that same area, you do some tough as balls platforming to reach a boss and then the reward is just a red tool. Of course for many the reward is the boss itself but it is all presented like you're about to get something amazing (especially with all the presentation with the soldier bodies standing around Kahn's corpse) and you simply don't.The reward then comes from it being the location where you find one of the 3 hearts you need for the true ending, which retroactively makes that area and reward super important, but that's so far into the future that it didn't get the chance to feel as rewarding.

There are specific situations where Architect or Shaman might be better than it, but it's never worse than second best and is often just the best choiceHunter is solid, no downsides once you get used to the diagonal pogo and a free damage bonus if you don't get hit, but almost always worse off than Wanderer. Very honest.

I love everything about this game EXCEPT the platforming. Bilewater is just LOL. I don't believe in gameplay where you die over and over again and do the runback 10 million times until you get the muscle memory and memorize the entire platforming sequence. Because you're never gonna get it on the first try, there is always some cheeky spikes waiting there to damage you. . It amazes me what consolefags put up with. I have no idea why they took gay ass platforming to such an EXTREME, instead of having more fun boss fights & gauntlets
