For a kickflip, right stick down, left stick left and then let go of both sticks. Double kickflip instead you hold the left stick left until you get two rotations and then let go. To get a casper, right stick down, tap left stick left and release both then pull the right stick down midflip to step back down on the tail to land in casper (which is cool but is buggy as fuck, so are darkslides and a lot of stuff in general). The controls are really cool and it started making sense really quickly, the problem is sticking tricks with how buggy the physics/cleanness logic is leads to a lot of bullshit. That combined with the fact the game is completely street to the point you can't even grab/flip I wouldn't pay for it, but I'm definitely going to check it out some more. Music is nice but as far as I've heard entirely instrumental, good amount of character/board customization, the grimy vibe of the levels is what I needed after the commercial clean of skate 4.
