What I think the problem is that they gave Olivia nothing to come over on her own climactically rather than passive as the story goes on, so people need to be rewarded with some other eye candy. Olivia is written in this weird way where things happen to her and you're kind of just along for the ride. It was recently pointed out to me that in some Disney and Pixar movies like Tarzan it's someone's voice covering a montage or whatever, but it's not the character signing about their dreams and wishes and fears. Phil Collins in this case, instead of Tarzan. Wani is like that. It's a subtle difference, but there is no SnootGame without the things Fang DOES. Olivia is comparately very reactionary, and the story could have gone a great many ways to a great many conclusions. If it was more intimate altogether, the climactic ending wouldn't be so detached and pumped out of proportion, and so it wouldn't be distasteful like this.

In Snoot the timeline being the last semester before graduation drives a lot of character conflict in a way that fits the endings.
