The demo is pretty much done, with quick and messy art placeholders. Everything I wanted is in: combat, inventory/consumables and shopping, all writing and cutscenes, scrolling parallax locations with points of interests (with some clickable spots), a crumb of exploration. I’ve sent it out to a few people and the feedback has been mostly positive, which is encouraging. Now all that's left is to properly draw/animate everything (and have gf compose some tracks). Overall this went smoother than I thought but there's also more assets to make than I expected.
