No idea, but I know it's big. My Mac had a nasty issue of using up to 300 GB of RAM (I only have about 48 gigs) when rendering the amazing saga scene but it resolved itself and uses max 3 gigs. Unity is such a bloated piece of crap though and the engine will randomly slow down even on an empty scene before, after about an hour or so, returning to normal speed until the program is closed down.

Sculpt before sim, helps with hems, puffy bits, stretchy bits.
Trying to sim something like cloth hemmed in by a belt without doing something like this is absurd.

Also get some images of seams, fold patterns, etc and turn them into masksyou can use for the way cloth folds around things like buttons and stitching.

Shit topology, shit uv mapping, shit textures and the designs make even less sense than the laziest work, killing believability. Its pretty much 3dscan all over again but without the advantage of having nice textures or proportions in the end. Its nothing but polygon pudding. Maybe usable for barely visible bg props but thats it

What I want AI to do is help me with retopology or creating proper rigs or basic animations, a base from where I can work on.
But techbros are so busy larping as shitty artists and "u seethe lol" trolls that theyre still useless to this day

The only useful thing atm is 2d AI. Realistic renderings combined with AI is useful, especially if I need to add people to sceneries/products

I've recently tried doing easy mode cloth simulation. It was really simple to pull off and it was tons of fun, it's just that i have zero understanding of fashion so the overall result was so mundane that I gave up after weight painting it. Wanted to give it some little details, accessories, a nice hand-modeled collar part, then i looked at the whole thing and it was just a basic bitch blouse over shorts so I gave up. Regardless, I think I can recommend that as a first step towards making clothes, at least from my amateur perspective it seems to be good enough. It's just that once cloth sim runs, you have to fix the mesh up and add some bits by hand if you want it to make any sense, so cloth simulation alone is not a full solution to the problem.

The vast majority of software falls into the second category, including Blender. Just don't give up before you do anything. Don't follow those donut tutorials, download a model of Lara Croft and try to render her naked in a sexy pose, and when you finally manage to do that (consulting the Internet all the time), you will have already learned a lot of the basics.

I tried to get into 3d modelling but ultimately gave up on it because I felt that it was way too much effort for too little gain in comparison to just drawing stuff. Especially when the only reason I was even trying 3d modelling was for my own autistic world building stuff. The time it took me to model stuff was exponentially more than it takes me to draw stuff. Picture related is what I tried to model.
