I wanted to like it, there was a point in my life where I was a diehard Bungie fan and anything they put out was solid gold to me. The gameplay just isn’t very good. It’s too slow, the guns aren’t unique enough to make me want to see more of them, the enemies are deadly but not mechanically interesting. There’s cool stuff going on with the artstyle and the background story, but the actual environments aren’t really nice to look at, some of them look weirdly unfinished. Which is crazy to me because even though I had massive problems with Destiny, I thought it was mostly a pretty game.
