It's a problem in a lot of emulation, but it's really noticeable for constant touch screen controls like Phantom Hourglass. I would agree that people will be disappointed, but honestly there aren't that many touch screen dominant games and I feel like 99% of these things get bought, used a few times, and then collect dust until a year or two later when something shinier comes out and the process repeats.
