Can the xu zero 28 do Dreamcast well with gammaOS? N64?
>>
I just got a wusd r36s. What can i do to make it run psp/n64/ps1 games better. I buyed it to be of able of play parasite eve and silent hill on in bed and it of not run ps1 games very well.
>>
why would i ever need anything other than the portal, this is the perfect handheld considering i carry around a laptop bag already
>>
>>12125728
Silent hill should be no problem on that

You don't need more than a PSP.

mini zero 28 is great, I really like how quiet the buttons are and it's surprisingly comfy for how small it is, it's become my ps1 and below console of choice despite its size
>>
>>12125772
>>12125786
You don't need more than 128mb of RAM.
>>
>>12125791
Yeah seems like what I wanted out of my rg28xx.
I love that thing but the dpad is miserable and so are the buttons. Simply too small and sensitive
>>
Every day I wake up and thank god for blessing us with the ROCKCHIP 3326.
Everything humanity has achieved throughout the ages: discovering fire, the bronze and iron ages, countless wars, the water peoples, dozens of empires, going to the moon and back; all pale against the moment the 3326 was born.
It's only been downhill from there.
>>
>>12125834
If you love it so much why don't you marry it?
>>

>N64
yes, although I did drop it to half rez. Still has issues with Pilotwings 64 but so does everything I guess

3DS, my favorite old school retro handheld.
>>
>>12125846
This not the 3DS. Stop triggering me
>>
>>12125830
hope you like it, my only complaint is the shoulders hurt to use after an extended time so i usually don't play games that utilize them heavily

I am justified. I just bought an MSI Claw A8 BZ2EM. Fully AMD. Not Intel. Making sure you know that. I am Holy and Righteous. x64. Full Instruction Set. Full Linux. Any Linux. Drivers Built into the Kernel. MSI Claw 8 AI+ A2VM is tainted and Un-Holy. Redditors seethe. Handheld users who use ARM are cucked. Locked bootloader. Locked device tree. Peasants, unable to afford a true x64 device that can run anything.
Shackled to Sly and Devious Chinamen, not based Taiwanese Republic of China truth tellers.

How's that ANBERNIC, Ayn, Miyoo, LMAOing at your cuck life and locked device tree and lack of software compatibility.

Sorry I expect my handheld to be a handheld I can actually carry around and hold in front of my face comfortably
>>
>>12125882
the only problem I have with these handheld PCs is that they're all ugly as fuck cringe machines. At least the steam deck looks ok but MSI, Lenovo and Asus are the equivalent of Korn, limp bizket and slipknot
>>
>>12125908
Have you tried not being a cripple.
>>
>>12125908
Lifting weights and exercise fixes this Un-Holy degeneration.
>>
why are all pc handhelds the size of a skateboard
i just want a slightly smaller deck for my small hands (thanks for the shitty genes mom)
>>
>>12125914
it's okay i have big hands and the deck still feels retarded to use
>>
So how satisfied are you with your Thor?

I'm thinking about getting one, or a Retroid Flip 2, to use on flights for watching movies as well as vidya.
>>
So what's the deal with Azahar vs Citra MMJ?

I've heard repeatedly that Azahar is the most accurate and therefore superior emulator and that MMJ is worse because it relies on hacks

But does this really mean anything in practice? I tested some games in Azahar and MMJ on my phone as well as my N3DSXL. But I swear MMJ looked and played the same as on my N3DS . If anything MMJ ran smoother than Azahar. It even solved some UI scaling issues in Fire Emblem and Etrian Odyssey that were present in Azahar. What am I missing exactly? What exactly is so bad about these "hacks"?
>>
>>12126017
I like my flip a lot, don't really feel the urge for the thor at all desu
>>
>>12126101
Azahar is in development by the original Citra devs while Citra MMJ isnt.
That's pretty much it.
>>
>>12126104
Yeah I'm 50/50 on them and probably won't make a decision until next year anyway. If I'm being honest the second screen on the Thor probably isn't going to see much play, since I'm mostly looking to play PS2 and arcade games.
>>
Yes, I get it, >mediakek, but does this Gamehub thing actually run not 3D heavy stuff on T618? Would low end unityshit be a tall order?
>>
>>12125946
love mine, only bad thing so far is MelonDS DS is being a bitch and crashing randomly
>>
I think I like my Retroid Pocket 5 more than my Switch 2 right now. It's just the perfect size. You think I could get Sea of Stars running on Gamehublite on this thing?
>>
Has the chinkheld community ever be so thoroughly, aggressively chinked and shilled as by the Thor?
>>
>>12125882
how is that battery life?
do you get to play anything at all in 2 hours?
>>
>>12125914
'nigg win600.
>>
>>12126416
I thought that sucked ass
>>
>>12126416
The cheapest SKU of the Ayn Loki was just a better Win600 back when it was around.
>>
>>12125914 (me)
i just found out that antec sells rebranded ayaneo slides for under 400€, its just the size i was looking for and its got a beefier chip than the steam deck
anyone have any experience with this one? according to retro catalog it can emulate literally everything including ps3
>>
>>12126418
>>12126463
it does suck, but it's small and honestly i would use it for 200X pc gaming.
>>
>>12125913
I can bench 190. Deck form factor still sucks. Odin portal is the perfect size and weight.
>>
Anything bigger than a GBA SP/NDS is too big.
I got a retroid pocket 2+ and that one already feels too long for me. GBA SP was the perfect handheld form factor, but I understand the need to compromise for the aspect ratio of more modern games.
I already hate how big the switch is when undocked, never getting a rp5, that shit is looong
>>
>>12126584
my tolerance goes up to vita size.
anything is too much, even the switch lite.
>>
>>12126418
>>12126463
It's legitimately good.
>>
>>12125914
Its to compromise for a multitude of reasons, like having a big enough screen for modern 3D games, a big enough battery because of the power draw associated with some APUs + to fit the demand of brainlets trying to run modern AAA games on portable devices, and also to compensate for a good enough fan when said device starts to rapidly heat up.
>>
I don't know guys. Why don't you just buy those phone accessories. Kinda steamdeck like but with a device you already own.
>>
>>12126618
I want a dedicated place for my games, I don't want to waste my phone's battery, and the controller thingies are always ugly with your phone, wonky and never work the way they should

Is an retroid 4 pro worth picking up? would it be able to run PS2 or GC?
>>
>>12126706

>>
>>12126650
Flip 3
>>
>>12126626
>>12126618
yeah, I tried doing that and it's so cumbersome having to remove/setup the controller all the time plus it looks so ugly, drains the battery etc.

Happy I got the flip2 and decided to stick with it. I really is a great form factor, excellent color scheme (snes US), OLED screen and the button layout feels perfect. Only issue is the hinge but I'm very gentle with mine. Thanks to all the bros who convinced me not to get a switch2, seems that would have been a stupid decision. Better to be happy with what you've got than waste it on garbage.
>>
>>12126706
Adequately but not amazingly. I'd still be playing mine even after the 5 came out, but I needed that Flip 2.
>>
>>12126354
Battery life is Righteous. You assume SBC, ARM, more power efficient. You are wrong. You do not understand TDP control down to 5w or lower. x64 supremacy.

https://www.techpowerup.com/340779/amd-claims-arm-isa-doesnt-offer-efficiency-advantage-over-x86
>>
>>12126821

>>
>>12126821
You can just say how long the battery lasts if it's so impressive, right?
>>
>>12126826
>>12126832
I have said as you say before. Battery life is righteous. My choice is superior. Yours inferior, Un-Holy.
>>
>>12126650
We don't know shit about the RP6, but it will probably going to be raw power vs oled screen.
I'm going with the Pocket Fit unless Retroid does something interesting with the RP6.

So, I only want to buy one handheld. No interest in collecting.

Should I go ahead and spend $250 if I want "perfect" fifth gen and earlier?
>>
>>12127089
Only fifth gen? Then you don't even have to spend that much.
>>
>>12127016
Streets of Rage 2, was ok
>>
>>12127051
They really didn't. They just lack imagination.

Concepts that haven't been done.

>3:4 aspect ratio screen
>game gear nostalgia size and form factor
>nomad size nostalgia size and form factor
>nostaliga size and form factor for more niche handhelds (turbo express, etc)
>handheld with rotating screen to switch between 4:3 and 3:4
>handheld with controls on both horizontal and vertical sides
>handheld with d-pad and analog stick that can swap/rotate placements
>dual screen handheld that splits apart into two mini-handhelds for two players
>>
>>12127091
Even for N64?
>>
>>12127089
Get something with a 4:3 screen
