Ideas for other abilities on pace:Rushing Gale doesn't seem to be worth it, but Speed Star is nice if you can find it (prepared to pass is the cheaper version and still good). straight descent is another good one for paces on this stage in particular. Shooting to victory inherited isn't as good as it is on Taiki unfortunately. Triumphant pulse should still be good though. Consider Plancha from El. It's On combos well with Tail Held High. And finally Highlander isn't too bad due to the final straight being an uphill.If you're doing Taiki, Changing Gears and Mile Maven are worth grabbing too. And Curvature is still really solid in general, you can't really go wrong with that.

Maru can run all distances and tracks. Not the best running horse but she does anything you want her to do. Oguri can't run Sprint but she can actually WIN at all other distances. Taiki is great at Mile and Sprint but not Medium or Long. This cup is mile and she got buffed so she's very very very good, but next cup she will be irrelevant due to distance requirements., Honestly any of those 3 are close to optimal. Tons of umas got buffed too so if you like any, any of them would be fine honestly, or at least not as painful as before.
